The 2009 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING was called for Wednesday, 12th August 2009, 7:30 pm at the Centre, 699 Steels Creek Road. All positions finish for the Management Committee, and nominations are sought and will be taken on the night at the meeting.

Steels Creek has suffered a blow from the bushfires of February 2009. However, as Andrew Chapman wrote: "The vine may be singed and the fruit burnt, but the roots are still there....". The Community Market will continue on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays. First after the fire on 14 February. Come and catch up with friends and family. Over 100 people came on the 14 February Morning Tea/Market. See more The tennis competition continues on Saturdays at 1PM. Community BBQ and information session on 22 February starting at 12 noon at the Community Centre (a location change). We want your input on how Steels Creek should progress and what issues will be foremost in rebuilding the physical community.
